Eastern MO Beekeepers 2026 Beekeeping Workshop & Honey Show Weekend

The 2026 Beekeeping Workshop & Honey Show Weekend, hosted by the Eastern MO Beekeepers Association (EMBA), will take place on February 20 & 21. This two-day event offers a variety of hands-on learning opportunities for beekeepers of all experience levels—from beginners to advanced.
On Friday, February 20, intermediate beekeepers can join a special add-on course from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, which includes lunch, snacks, and early access to the vendor show for just $40. EMBA will also host the American Honey Show Training Council (AHSTC) for a full-day certification training, and the day will wrap up with the EMBA Beekeeping Banquet at 6:00 PM—an evening of delicious food and bee-themed entertainment ($48 per person, sold separately).
On Saturday, February 21, the main workshop kicks off with all-day programming (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM) for Beginners and Experienced Beekeepers. Both tracks include expert instruction, meals, and materials for $99 (early bird pricing). Saturday also features the Honey Show Competition & Vendor Show, our best yet, both included in the cost of your ticket.
Guest speakers include Greg Rogers, Kent Williams, Bryan Zavada, Jim Masucci, Frank Rinkevich, Lewis Bartlett, Ken Heitkamp, and John Pashia. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your beekeeping skills, this weekend has something for everyone! Plus, we’ll have an amazing raffle.
