This year for the first time, Kent’s bees went to winter storage in Idaho. From there, they were destined for California the first week in January — as was Kent, who as of press time planned to drive to California from the ABF conference in Jacksonville to prepare his bees for placement in almond orchards in February. He’ll also be using in-hive data monitors there for the first time.
