The Central Texas Beekeepers are hosting a one-day Beginners Beekeeper School to be held April 16, 2016 at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Brenham, Texas.

We will have beginner classes on Top Bar and Langstroth as well as Intermediate and Advanced level Langstroth classes in the morning. The afternoon will be filled with demonstrations and additional courses. This is an excellent learning opportunity regardless of experience. Vendors will be present to answer your questions and have beekeeping equipment for sale.

The cost of the school includes a catered Bar-B-Q meal with Blue Bell Ice Cream for dessert as well as a school “book” that will have information for all of the classes.

Last year we had over 530 students and 100 “staff” present. Due to space restrictions, we are limiting the enrollment to 550 students this year.

To view more information, click on the “Get more information” tab below or visit our website at
www.centraltexasbeekeepers.org.

As a rule of thumb, those with less than a year’s experience should consider a beginner class. Intermediate classes are usually attended by those with more than a year experience.

Our club will have a limited number of assembled, painted ready-to-go hives available for purchase. Please purchase these during the registration process.

If you plan on WORKING at the school, please email us at:

for registration procedures.

If you have any questions or requests, please do not hesitate to contact us and share your ideas.

We look forward to seeing you on April 16!

Sincerely,
