The Beekeepers of Indiana will be holding their Fall Conference and Workshop on October 27/28, 2023. We begin with a Friday evening of speaker talks and a snack. Our Keynote speaker this year is Bob Binnie. Bob began commercial beekeeping in 1981 in Oregon and has been involved in commercial beekeeping in 10 states.
Other speakers include Mike Champlin presenting on “Bee Gadgets and Hacks,” Stephanie Slater giving tips and tricks for “Entering Honey Shows,” and Jerry Zimmerman covering “Bee Biology.”
Every year, we hold a Smoker Contest, a Honey Show, Raffle and Auction. We also have an area for vendors.
The cost is $50 for members, $60 for non-members and $25 for children 15 and under. The cost includes a Friday night program, a Saturday program and a lunch on Saturday.
