Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Drumm Farm Center for Children, Nelson Hall, 3210 South Lee’s Summit Road, Independence MO 64055, The Midwestern Beekeepers Association , 24rd Annual Beginning Beekeeping Workshop. This Workshop offers in-depth instruction on current beekeeping practices, including Honey Bee biology, equipment basics, way to acquire honey bees, colony management, and much more.
The workshop registration fee is $65 and $50 for each additional family member.
The registration includes the workshop, lunch and refreshments, class materials, and a one-year membership to Midwestern Beekeepers Association.
Current members may register for $50.
Registration will begin at 7:30 AM and the workshop will be from 8AM to 4PM.
Beekeeping Suppliers will be on site to order bees and supplies. The class size is limited, and registration will close when full or by February 17, 2019. No refunds after February 17, 2019.
