Kentucky State Beekeepers Association Fall Conference
Saturday, November 15, 2025
Owensboro Technical and Community College, Owensboro, KY 42303
Join fellow Kentucky beekeepers for a fun and educational packed day with two learning tracks. Our keynote speaker is the wise while also entertaining Dr. Jim Tew. Jim is an Emeritus Faculty member at Ohio State University. During his forty-eight years of bee work, Jim has taught classes, provided extension services, and conducted research on honey bees and honey bee behavior. Jim is the author of several best-selling books, writes for several national bee magazines, and is the host of a Podcast and YouTube channel “Honey Bee Obscura.”
The day will include a Beginning Beekeeper track of four courses to help prepare new beekeepers for spring bees. Our Advanced Beekeeper track will feature topics such as Queen and Hive Management, Maximizing Honey Production, Treatment-Less Beekeeping and more.
There are 11 vendors booked for the day, many fabulous door prizes, a silent auction and our soon-to-be famous honey tasting contest where all attendees are welcome to enter their honey and vote for their favorite.
We are excited for you to join us for a day of collaboration and sharing. See https://kybees.org/event-6069378 for details on the nominal fee to attend, full schedule, lodging options, and more.
