This annual meeting will close out our 6 th year as an organization of volunteers dedicated to educating Illinois beekeepers on how to rear local queens. Four successful queen rearing classes were hosted by the IQI throughout the state with 52 more beekeepers educated on queen rearing. Our Summer Open House at a mating yard was a success in spite of the frequent rains. We have begun to introduce mite biter queens into the apiaries of IQI members.

Annual dues of $25 are payable at the annual meeting for the following year. Dues are used to maintain the website, print educational materials, pay for presenters? costs, and assist with expenses for IQI queen rearing classes. Paid members get discounts to classes and future meetings.
