The Colorado State Beekeepers Assoc. will host their winter meeting at Kirk Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock, CO on Saturday, November 5th from 9am to 5pm.
Keynote speaker will be Dr. Keith Delaplane, popular and prolific author, and entomologist with the University of Georgia, http://www.ent.uga.edu/bees/personnel/delaplane.html.
There will be hands-on workshops that add value to the honey producer, such as Lotions, Potions, and Creams, Making Creamed Honey, and Cleaning Wax.
Kristina Williams will discuss Going with the Flow, or Not, The Flow Hive.
Also not to be missed is the Big Money Honey contest, with the grand prize of $300!
