McHenry County College, in Crystal Lake, Illinois, announces the following spring beekeeping classes:

Varroa Mite: Know Your Enemy — April 8, 6:30-9:00 p.m. (in-person or remote)
A successful strategy for control of these mites is critical to the survival of a honey bee colony. This class will discuss the history, biology and control of Varroa destructor.
