Beekeeping classes at McHenry College
McHenry County College, in Crystal Lake, Illinois, announces the following spring beekeeping classes:
Comb Honey — March 11, 6:30-9:00 p.m. (in-person or remote)
This course is an opportunity to return to the old (and some say healthier) way of harvesting honey. Working with your bees to produce good quality comb honey is a challenge. This class will discuss methods and equipment to meet this challenge. Entering a honey show this year? Consider entering honey in the comb! Fee: $25.00
