“We imagine the bees enjoying this bucolic oasis in the middle of civilization on this 4th-generation family farm. Honey bee hives have been maintained here for 20+ years where the bees take advantage of the nearby Meramac River plus lots of black locust in spring, common clovers in summer and goldenrod in fall, along with all the “weeds” the farmer lest grow amongst his field crops.
