Pacific Northwest Beekeeping Conference
October 2-3, 2026, Wenatchee, WA
The Washington State Beekeepers Association (WASBA) will host the 2026 Pacific Northwest Beekeeping Conference on October 2-3, 2026, at the Wenatchee Convention Center in Wenatchee, Washington. This two-day event brings together 200-400 beekeepers for practical education, networking, and discussion, with two tracks of presentations designed for both beginning and experienced beekeepers. Conveniently located in Central Washington, Wenatchee is an accessible destination for beekeepers throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Western Montana and Northern Idaho.
New for 2026, WASBA will offer WSU-led Microscopy Workshops focused on proper use of compound microscopes and hands-on diagnosis of Nosema. These small-group sessions, limited to approximately 30 participants each, provide a valuable opportunity for beekeepers to build diagnostic skills essential to modern colony management.
The conference features keynote speaker Dr. Brandon Hopkins (Washington State University), along with a diverse lineup including Kamon Reynolds, Dr. David Peck, Frederick Dunn, Adam Pachal, and George Hansen, as well as student presentations from across the Pacific Northwest. Additional highlights include a Friday evening banquet, awards, and auction, along with a full vendor hall and attendee-favorite events such as the “No-Rules Honey Judging Contest.”
Held in a scenic autumn setting, the conference also offers easy access to nearby Leavenworth, providing an added draw for attendees and their families. Registration and lodging details are available through WASBA, and early registration is encouraged for this well-attended regional event.
