2022 WISCONSIN HONEY QUEEN

The Wisconsin Honey Producers Association is proud to announce that Shannon Lamb of Dane, Wisconsin was selected as the 2022 Wisconsin Honey Queen. Shannon is the daughter of Sandra Helt of Dane, Wisconsin. She is a May 2021 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Soil and Crop Science, Environmental Horticulture, and Animal Science, with a minor in Biology.

Shannon will spend the rest of this year promoting the beekeeping industry in Wisconsin. She is available to speak with civic groups and appear at fairs, festivals, and farmers markets. She will also give presentations in schools about honeybees and the beekeeping industry. In January 2023, Shannon will represent Wisconsin at the American Honey Queen competition at the American Beekeeping Federation Convention in Jacksonville, Florida.
