 ins June 2-4\, 2016\n\nFor those who are prepared for the most in-depth an
 d comprehensive training in beekeeping that we offer at Spikenard! \n\nTh
 is class presents a unique learning opportunity for all who would like to 
 immerse themselves into a holistic understanding of the Sacred Bee. It is 
 this knowledge that inspires and guides our practice of keeping and caring
  for the bees and for working with the earth.\n\nThe main objective of thi
 s training is to deepen the understanding of the honeybees and the laws of
  nature\, which are the laws of life\, in order to arrive at appropriate b
 eekeeping practices that strengthen the honeybee’s compromised immune sy
 stem and restore health.\n\nBy going beyond traditional/organic/natural be
 ekeeping methods\, we will explore beekeeping practices that will bring th
 e honeybees and us into the future. A new way of relating to the animal ki
 ngdom is dictated by the needs of our times. The overarching goal of heali
 ng will lead us into a deeper understanding of the most holistic way of en
 livening the landscape and forage for the pollinators: biodynamic agricult
 ure.\n\nThis training will have a total of 4 sessions (3 days each)\, two 
 in 2016 and two in 2017. Each session will include lectures\, group sessio
 ns\, practical experience with bees and artistic activities that will help
  train our sense of observation\, a necessary tool for rising above ‘rec
 ipes’. After completion of the four sessions and reading requirements\, 
 the training will finish with a certificate for biodynamic/sustainable bee
 keeping. As these sessions are conceived as an organic whole\, they can on
 ly be taken as a whole and in proper sequence. Number of participants is l
