SUMMARY:Louisiana Beekeepers Association 57 Annual Convention
DESCRIPTION:The Louisiana Beekeepers Association will hold its 57th Annual 
 Convention at the West-Cal Events Center\, 401 Arena Road\, Sulphur\, LA.
   The convention begins Thursday afternoon\, December 6\, with registrat
 ion at 1pm\, a focus on commercial beekeeper concerns\, and a social hour 
 with a live band later that evening.  Friday morning and afternoon as we
 ll as Saturday morning offer a wide variety of topics and speakers for all
  levels of beekeepers. Featured convention guests and speakers include ind
 ustry experts Randy Oliver\, Dr. Juliana Rangel\, Pierre Lau\, among other
 s. Specific presenters\, topics and times could still change and will be f
 inalized as the convention dates draw closer.\n\nConvention information an
 d registration forms can be accessed on the Louisiana Beekeepers Associati
 on website: www.labeekeepers.org.  There are hotels and motels offering 
 different types of lodging arrangements very near this West-Cal Events Cen
 ter in Sulphur.\n\nWe encourage anyone interested in beekeeping to join us
  in Sulphur in December for informative presentations on pest management\,
  pollinator\nresearch\, medical benefits of hive products\, and many other
