SUMMARY:BEGINNING BEEKEEPING CLASSES  “STARTING RIGHT WITH BEES” - OK
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in beekeeping? Know someone who does? NEOBA 
 offers a series of beginning beekeeping classes\, “Starting Right With B
 ees\,” which are offered twice a year\, once during the fall and then in
  late winter during the off-season of beekeeping. The Beginning Beekeeper 
 class will consist of 3 Saturday sessions of 4 hours each. The classes are
  a series of three consecutive courses in total. The final session is an e
 lective class of a hands-on equipment build day.\n\nRegistration for the c
 lass requires an active membership first.\n\nAnnual membership dues are $2
 0 for an Individual\, $25 for a family.\n\nIf you are not yet a member of 
 neoba the total cost of the class will be $75 for a single person or $95 f
 or a family (husband/wife and dependents under 18) and includes a free fir
 st-year membership to NEOBA ($25 value!). If you are already a member of n
 eoba the cost will be $55 for a single person and $70 for family (husband/
 wife and dependents under 18).\n\nThe next scheduled beginning beekeeping 
 classes\, “Starting Right With Bees\,” will be held at Wright Christia
 n Academy (entry driveway is on Garnett) 11391 E Admiral Pl\, Tulsa\, OK 
  74116 on Saturday\, February 8\, 2020\, 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM\, Saturday
 \, February 15\, 2020\, 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM\, and Saturday\, February 2
 2\, 2020\, 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM. The content includes bee biology\, expl
 anation of equipment and tools\, the life cycle of the colony and how the 
 beekeeper interacts\, and pest management techniques.\n\nWe recommend that
  you do not purchase equipment before this class\, as we discuss aspects t
 hat may influence the type and quality of the equipment.\n\nRe-takes:  Fo
 r members who have paid for and taken the class within the past three year
 s\, and have paid your club dues each year\, you may sit in this class at 
 no cost\, as long as there is space available.  You still must register s
 o that we have a proper headcount.  Please contact Dane or Mike for verif
 ication\, and to receive a discount code to be used during registration to
  offset the class cost. NEOBA provides new beekeepers with an introductory
  beekeeping book—” First Lessons in Beekeeping\,” as well as several
