DESCRIPTION:January 15\, 22\, 29\, 2026. Registration deadline January 1\, 
 2026.\n\nFebruary 12\, 19\, 26\, 2026. Registration deadline January 29\, 
 2026\n\nThese classes will cover everything a beginning beekeeper needs to
  consider before getting bees including how to handle a hive tool to optio
 ns to manage for varroa mites\, all based on scientifically-based best man
 agement practices. Classes will be held at Doolittle Community Hall\, 380 
 Eisenhower\, Rolla\, MO 6 to 9 p.m. CST.  One three-session course is req
 uired to complete this beginning beekeeping class.\n\nSecond Year Beginnin
 g Beekeeping Class \n\nMarch 21\, 2025. Registration deadline March 7\, 2
 025. This class will review basic techniques from how to introduce queens 
 to splitting a colony. Class will be held at Doolittle Community Hall\, 38
 0 Eisenhower\, Rolla\, MO 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.\n\nCost $100 per student/$
 180 for a couple. Minimum age for class attendance is 15 years. Fees inclu
 de refreshments\, class materials and chances to win beekeeping prizes.\n\
 nRolla Bee Club 2026 classes are certified by Great Plains Master Beekeep
 ing as providing scientifically-based best management practices and are ac
