SUMMARY:Beekeepers of Indiana 2016 Fall Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Beekeepers of Indiana 2016 Fall Conference will be held at 
 Swan Lake Resort\, 5203 Plymouth LaPorte TR\, Plymouth\, Indiana 46563.
   The conference and membership meeting will be Saturday\, October 29th a
 nd the board of directors meeting will be Friday\, October 28th. There wil
 l also be a Beginner Bee School the same day as the conference. The guess 
 speaker will be Dr. Ernesto Guzman.\n\nFriday\, October 28th at 7:00pm Dr.
  Guzman will talk about Africanized Bees.\nRegistration starts on Saturday
 \, October 29th at 7:15am and the conference and Beginners School start at
  8:15am. The conference will end at 4:00pm. Registration includes coffee j
 uice and donuts as well as a buffet lunch. You can get more information ab

  guest speaker Dr. Ernesto Guzman is a Professor and Director of the Unive
 rsity of Guelph’s Honey Bee Research Centre in Ontario\, Canada. He got 
 a DVM degree in 1982 and obtained M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Entomology fr
 om the University of California at Davis in 1989 and 1992\, respectively. 
 Dr Guzman has worked for several research and academic institutions in Mex
 ico\, the USA and Canada. His research has focused on genetics\, behaviour
 \, and diseases of honey bees. Dr. Guzman is author of more than 80 peer-r
 eviewed publications and has received numerous awards. Ernesto Guzman also
  kept more than 300 hives of Africanized bees\, many years ago in Mexico.
