DESCRIPTION:The Back Yard Beekeepers Association (BYBA) has been educating 
 the public about honey bees and beekeeping for twenty + years.  With over
  400 members\, our association has grown to become one of the Nation’s l
 argest regional clubs for beekeeping hobbyists. Some of our members are ju
 st getting started as beekeepers\, and some have enjoyed this hobby for ye
 ars. All share an interest in the wonderful and remarkable world of the ho
 ney bee. This regional club is dedicated to promoting beekeeping as a hobb
 y\, and spreading the good word about the remarkable honey bee.\n\nMarch 2

  2018 Bill Hesbach: Over-wintering\n\nThe purpose of the BYBA is to provi
 de it’s membership with interesting and practical information about the 
 “how-to’s” of beekeeping.   The club also provides the general pub
 lic with educational programs about honey bees and the benefits of beekeep
 ing in our communities.  The BYBA is a not for profit\, 501C-3 charitable
  organization.\n\nThere are 9 monthly meetings that begin at 7:30 pm on th
 e last Tuesday of the month in January\, February\, March\, April\, May\, 
 June\, September\, October and November and are held at the Norfield Churc
 h Community Room\, 64 Norfield Road\, Weston\, Connecticut.\n\nThere are t
 wo meetings designed specifically for new beekeepers (The Newbees and Spec
 ial Topics) at 6:00 pm\, prior to our regular meetings.  We encourage all
  to come!  These events are free and open to the public.
