DESCRIPTION:The Back Yard Beekeepers Association (BYBA) in Connecticut is p
 roud to present speaker Julia Mahood on July 22. Julia is currently the Pr
 esident of the Georgia Beekeepers Association and an authority on honey be
 e drones. This meeting is in person and our speaker will be joining us IN-
 PERSON. There is not an option for participants to join virtually.  Plea
 se join us at 7 PM to allow time to socialize and chat with other members 
 of the club.  Our speaker presentation will begin at 7:30 PM.\nThe locati

 eeper who has been keeping bees since 2004. She created the citizen scien
 ce website MapMyDca.com to gather data on drone congregation areas. A grap
 hic artist\, she designed the Georgia “Save the honey bee” license pla
 te. She is passionate about education and teaches beekeeping in Georgia pr
 isons. Julia is a former Georgia Beekeeper of the Year and currently the
